A jewelry closet was proposed. This illustration was approved. Later we decided to change the plywood background to reclaimed barn wood running vertically to match an adjacent wall treatment.
After
The counter top made from one thick piece of reclaimed floor beam. The barn wood was sealed with bees wax and the rest was sealed with amber shellac bringing out the wood grain.

Extended drawer slides were chosen allowing full access to the contents of the drawer.
Wall Treatment
The wall behind the bed was treated in the same way with reclaimed barn wood sealed with beeswax to match the Jewelry Closet and warm up this bright room which faces the water.
